Deep Technology & Industry 4.0 MiniExpo 2021
We present our stall for the Deep Technology & Industry 4.0 MiniExpo 2021. The team enjoyed learning about the 4th industrial revolution and how it will affect our company in the future. Inhibit Coatings also got the chance to display its revolutionary antibacterial & antiviral technology to the start-up community of Wellington. We look forward to seeing you next year!
Celebration at the 2021 Wellington Gold Awards
The Inhibit Coatings team had a fantastic night enjoying the hospitality of the Wellington Gold Awards 2021. Congratulations to CoGo, winners of the “Innovation Gold” award, and to Fix and Fog, winners of the “Supreme” award. Thank you, Wellington, for recognising our science. Inhibit Coatings is honoured to finish as a finalist up against such great businesses.

The Wellington Gold Awards is a respected set of prizes that celebrate the excellence of enterprise and business in the Wellington Region. The Inhibit Coatings team were overjoyed to be announced as finalists for the “Innovation Gold” award for outstanding recent R&D projects. On 29th July we find out if we have netted the top prize!
A visit from Hon Dr. Megan Woods, Minister of Research, Science and Innovation
Inhibit Coatings was delighted to host Hon Dr. Megan Woods, the NZ Minister of Research, Science and Innovation, for a tour around our laboratory. The team displayed the full variety of coatings for the minister, including our potent antiviral coating, capable of destroying 99.9% of Human Coronavirus in two hours.

Inhibit Coatings continues to expand, introducing our new Operations Manager Stephen Fitzer
Inhibit Coatings added one more team member to our roster this week, welcome our new operations manager, Stephen Fitzer. Stephen has experience in both project and production environments. He graduated with an MSc in Engineering Project Management and previously worked on collaborative, complex, and innovative research projects.

These awards celebrate the impact of NZ's leading research innovations and we are incredibly grateful to have been recognised amongst them.

Inhibit Coatings has received $350,000 from MBIE's COVID Innovation Acceleration Fund to assist in the development of antiviral coatings for high-risk areas.

Inhibit Coatings is excited to announce its selection in the latest Plug and Play innovation platform and accelerator program in San Fransisco, California. Inhibit was chosen to participate in the program alongside 15 other SMEs out of an application pool of over 1,000.
